Senior Girls Dominate Powderpuff Game
The seniors once again defeated the juniors during the 2016 annual powderpuff game with a final score of 12-0. There were some major plays for the seniors on Wednesday, September 21st that were key aspects of the victory.
Destini Cannon, senior, scored a 40 yard touchdown run to put the seniors ahead early. She was also a big part of the defense, as she had one interception. The two teams went into the second half with score of 6-0, seniors leading. Tierrana Jones, senior, also intercepted for the seniors, which helped them score again shortly after this turnover. Hallie Remer, senior, was then able to put the seniors up 12 on a 1 yard touchdown run. The juniors were unable redeem themselves, which resulted in a 12-0 victory for the seniors.
