Senior Field Hockey Night was a night that the seniors on the team will always remember. Monday, September 26 marked the night that field hockey athletes were able to showcase the hard work that they put in during their entire high school career.

ju9_g-otEven with the defeat by Brighton with a final score of 2-1, the seniors reported that they will forever remember the team and the competitive environment. According to Jocelyn Deutch, “we tried our best and got better since the last game”. Jocelyn was a dedicated senior to field hockey for 3 years and worked hard to go from JV to Varsity.

Brianna Cohen was at awe as her final game on her home turf was finally happening. Brianna said that “it was hard to face the fact that this was the last time I would be playing the sport I love so much on our home turf… it was important for me and the rest of the team to go out there and try our hardest”. Brianna wanted to show the entire Laker community what her and the team were made of.

It was an important moment for the players and their parents as they would remember this game and night for years to come.
