West Bloomfield Cheer Team Climbs the Ranks
On Wednesday, Janauary 11th, the West Bloomfield cheer team placed second in their competition, their best performance yet. The Lakers scored 686 and place second by a very small margin, with oxford scoring 703.
The Lakers were at their best during the first and second rounds, after which they led by 10 points. Unfortunately, round three was their weakest, and they could not hold on to the lead. Luckily, the Lakers only dropped down one position and finished in second, and beat out Troy.
The Lakers have shown wonderful improvements as the season progresses and will continue to climb up the ranks, hopefully taking first place in the upcoming competitions, the nearest one being Saturday, January 14th at 10 am at Royal Oak High School.
