Exam Jam
Final exams are a super stressful week at WBHS but are super scary for the first semester high schooler. Most freshmen do not understand how final grades are calculated but they do know how important it is do to well on them. Freshmen are given the opportunity to attend Exam Jam, an event hosted by the Peer Mentorship class.
Exam Jam is held the week before finals and includes all core classes. Peer Mentorship students will be helping small groups and there will also be teachers from each subject to work with freshmen students as well. This event is to help students finish their study guides, study the material, and feel the most confident that they can before they have to take their first high school final. Students should bring their study materials (textbooks, paper, pencils, study guides, etc.) TO THE ICENTER and be ready to study.
The schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, January 17 from 2:15-3:15 – Math
Wednesday, January 18 from 2:15-3:15 – Biology
Thursday, January 19 from 2:15-3:15 – Civics/Economics
Friday, January 20 from 2:15-3:15 – English
