Clarkson Levels the Lakers

CLARKSTON- The Laker’s failure to capitalize combined with shooting inconsistencies which deprive them of an essential road victory.
The Laker’s lacked great conviction and force throughout the first quarter which persisted throughout the half to give Clarkston a 30-18 edge on Tuesday. Play was ultimately stagnate as neither team truly stood out with consistent offensive momentum. Despite this 12 point deficit, the Lakers revamped their offensive tempo which sparked a mini third quarter run to bring the Lakers within 6. Clarkston fought back and ignited an 8 point run to safely pull away from the Lakers, 59-48. With this victory, Clarkston maintained their undefeated, 13-0, record as the Lakers fell to 8-5. West Bloomfield’s offense was powered by point guard Kevin McAdoo’s (senior) 21 points and Tre Harvey’s (Junior) 18 points.
This game also proved to be very special day for the ChadTough Foundation and children who suffer from cancer. Each and every spectator in the room showed their support by wearing orange and donating to help ease the financial burden of families with children who have cancer.
