WBHS Drama Department Hosts Shrek The Musical Auditions
Calling all West Bloomfield High School students who love to sing, dance, and act. The WBHS Theatre Department is holding auditions for their production of Shrek The Musical after school Tuesday, February 28th and Wednesday, March 1st. Tuesday will be vocal auditions, and students will be asked to prepare a short 16-bar song of their choice. If students are a tad bit shy, they are also welcome to audition for chorus and sing in a group for their audition rather than by themself. Wednesday is acting auditions, and students are to bring a short comedic monologue, about 30-90 seconds in length, of their choosing. Callbacks, if necessary, will be Thursday March 2nd after school. Copies of callback songs and scenes are included in the audition form. The audition form is also due Tuesday and is located outside of the Forum and on the theatre department’s website: www.wbhstheatre.com. In addition to the physical audition form, there is also a required online pre-audition registration that is due Sunday, February 26th at 8pm. The link is below:
