Detroit Water Ice @ Franklin Cider Mill Now Open
Attention WBHS students! Detroit Water Ice at Franklin Cider Mill is now open! On May 25 only, from 2pm-6pm all water ice will be free at the brand new location. Water ice, which is sort of like the frozen treat Italian ice, is smooth, cold, and comes in a variety of delicious flavors. It is a great alternative to ice cream or other dairy-based treats, especially for people with lactose allergies or dietary restrictions. All proceeds from Detroit Water Ice at Franklin Cider Mill will be donated to the charity S.A.Y. Detroit. This charity works to improve the lives of Detroit’s neediest citizens, through shelter, food, medical care, volunteer efforts and education. The new location at Franklin Cider Mill will be open all summer, and will be staffed by student volunteers recruited from WBHS. To see your fellow students in action, and to donate to a great cause while picking up a sweet treat, swing by the new location at the address below:
7450 Franklin Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301
Your donation will support the student journalists of West Bloomfield High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
