WBHS Will See New Changes Along with A New Year

This spring a bond passed that gave West Bloomfield High School enough money to have some renovations done. But what will be done by the time students arrive in the fall? Spectrum staff reached out to Patrick Watson, the principal of WBHS, and asked him about next year’s biggest changes.

One of the most visible changes going on right now is the track and turf field. As of right now, they’re each getting gutted and are getting improved, quality wise. The renovation of the field and turf will be done by the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year.

Watson also commented that “some classrooms will see new furniture.” This will be seen when the students return.

There has also been rumors about a potential change in the colors that represent WBHS. Watson was able to bring some clarity to these rumours and stated that the colors will stay the same.

The renovations should be done within the next 3-4 years.
