What to look forward to for U-Matter Week 2017

Jo Fogarasi and Sarah Durack

After such an inspiring and successful U-Matter week last year, students of West Bloomfield High School decided to uphold the tradition with this year’s U-Matter Week. U-Matter Week is taking place from Monday, November 6 to Friday, November 10, and on each day will be a different activity relating to the theme.

This Monday, students were greeted with free breakfast thanks to the U-Matter Committee. On Tuesday, guest speaker Mike Smith will visit and perform a motivational speech for the students and staff. On Wednesday, students will hear stories from teachers and staff members WBHS in Ted Talk like seminars,  in order to spread positivity and uplift with inspirational messages. The agenda of Thursday has yet to be set by the U-Matter Week Committee, but we will be sure to add this information to this article once the agenda has been released. On Friday, students are asked to wear white to represent positivity and perfection along with clarity of the mind. Throughout all lunches this week, the U-Matter Committee will be sponsoring activities and games for students to partake in at the cafeteria. Be sure to join in on the fun all this week!
