All-City Strings Concert Moved to January
Siblings, parents, and musicians alike are scrambling to rearrange their schedules around the new date that the All-City Concert will take place. The All-City Concert is hosted every year, an orchestral concert showcasing talent from all over the school district. It includes orchestras from Abbott Middle School, Orchard Lake Middle School (OLMS), Oakland Early College, and our very own West Bloomfield High School (WBHS). Typically, the concert sounds in early December, but this year, a change had to be made. The concert was moved from December 13 to Tuesday, January 9.
Linda Trotter, Orchestra Director of both WBHS and OLMS, said “This change occurred in early September, once I found out when my surgery was going to be and how long I would be out from work.”
While some people were surprised of the change, others were told of the news during Open House at WBHS in the fall. Be there Tuesday night to support Laker musicians!
Your donation will support the student journalists of West Bloomfield High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
