Varsity football beat De La Salle Collegiate 16-8 on Friday, Oct. 25 at Wayne State University. This non-league game concluded the season. 

Seniors Dillon Tatum and Darian Kruja scored two touchdowns for the Lakers. The defense also scored two points with a safety. De La Salle came back with a touchdown and two-point conversion, but it was not enough to win.

The Lakers are going into playoffs with a record of 8-1. Their first playoff game is against Canton High School at home on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
