Azu: So I’m here with Eric Pierce, our athletic director. So what are some ways that the students can get into the school spirit and watch all West Bloomfield sports?
Pierce: Well, there’s a there’s a couple of different ways. We’re very fortunate to have something called the NFHS network, which is our pixelot cameras that you’ll see at our games. Those are broadcasted online. And if you buy a subscription to those things, then you can actually watch them from the luxury of your own home or from a computer anywhere that you’re at.
Pierce: So that’s one way to do it. The other way and the better way, obviously, is in-person, live and in-person here at West Bloomfield High School. We have an all sports pass that people can purchase that gets them into our school sponsored sports throughout the course of the year. But, you know, most of our sports, do charge a gate fee.
Pierce: But I tell you, it’s absolutely amazing when there’s a great crowd on hand for any of our sports and we get a student section out there, there’s nothing better than playing in front of your home fans.
Azu: Okay. And how are students supposed to know what sports are going on that day?
Pierce: The best way to do that is to go to West Bloomfield Athletics dot com. That’s our athletics website. If you go to that website and you click on the more tab, it’ll say schedules and view schedules and it’ll show you a whole calendar for, for the whole year right now. So you can go week by week, day by day, month by month, however you want to do it, so you can plan ahead and get to as many events as you can get to.
Azu: All right. Thank you. You heard it here, Lakers.
