WBHS 2013-2014 Freshman Boy’s Basketball team
The West Bloomfield High School’s freshman basketball team has had a great run so far for the 2013-2014 season. The team started their season of the December of 2013 and they have won eight out of eleven games. The WBHS team has gone against Waterford Mott (loss), Waterford Kettering (win), Warren Woods (win), Oxford (win), Rochester (loss), Troy Athens (win), Groves (win), Seaholm (win), Lake Orion (win), Avondale (win), Troy (win) and Troy Athens (win). Their overall record so far is at 10-2-0.
The members of this team include freshman, Kenny Tobin, Brendan Hardey, Usman Waheed, Daniel Pore, Daelyn Hightower, Becel Dubreuze, Jermiah Bolden, Jacob Binke, Dequicy Lewis, Tyler Davis, Kevwe Okagare, Shazal Khan, Samuel Oviasu, and Luke Maroki. This amazing fresh team of athletes is coached by Mr. Josh Johnson.
“I think this season is going really well. I would say that we have a really good record, but our last game with Troy really showed our true potential and if we recognize potential we will be able to win the rest of the season,” states Mr. Johnson.
The freshman team has made a dunk into their season and the members offer great promise for the JV and Varsity teams next year. Great job boys!
