Keeping Memories Safe
The yearbook staff works hard to create a book worth remembering
It is another busy year for the WBHS’s yearbook staff as they wrap up this school year’s Exodus under the supervision of Mrs. Noel McHardy. All year, they have worked hard to create a book filled with all the great memories of the 2013-2014 school year. For the seniors, the Exodus is especially important because it will be like a time capsule of their last year of high school. The students work with teacher McHardy to produce the yearbook. On how the year went for her and her staff, McHardy commented, “This year provided some new challenges in that it was my first year as a solo advisor. Last year, I leaned heavily on Ms Nadler’s expertise. The success of the book would not have been possible without all the hard work of the staff. They were constantly surprising me with their creative new ideas and excellent work ethic. I enjoyed being able to lead such an interesting group of students and watching them improve throughout the year.”
The seniors on the yearbook staff are Carly Snider, Shehla Asghar, Lindsay Abrahams, Nikki Vashavskiy, Ciara Matthews, Baily Kadian, Kailyn Gasso, and Hannah Shink. When asked what she would miss most, Varshavskiy said, “I’ll miss all my buddies because we get to hang out in yearbook and work together.”
