WB Weekly Wrap-Up 5/4
Summarizing the events that occurred in the week of 5/4-5/8.
SPRING FEVER
Monday brought in the first full school week of May and sunny skies. The weather finally began to warm up and flowers began to bloom. The week continued and had the last late start of the year this past Wednesday morning.
UPSTANDER WEEK
This past week has been Upstander Week, put on by the Upstander Club to promote awareness about being kind to one another. In order to do this, there were posters, pledges, a mural, flyers, twitter campaigns, and more to promote their cause.
CARNIVAL
The annual West Bloomfield High School (WBHS) carnival was moved from Wednesday to Thursday, and the weather was fully compliant with a sunny 82 degrees. At the carnival, clubs from the school put out booths and games to either raise money or promote their cause. The event occurred during A,B, and C lunches, and was a complete success.
So far, this week has been filled with clubs, carnivals, and causes. Watch out for next week’s Weekly Wrap-Up, and have a great week, Lakers!
