Spirited Student Leadership
Student Leadership shares their plans for the year.
Student leadership organizes so many of our school events. Already this year they have quite a few things planned. They are organizing homecoming, coffee house, music mash up, staff appreciation week, and middle and elementary school connections. They are also starting Laker lotto again this year, “We hope this becomes an actual event people look forward to,” says Ms. Ashleigh Ruggero West Bloomfield High School student leadership teacher. Homecoming this year is promised to be better than ever,” We have improved every year, the students this year are very committed,” stated Ruggero. Junior, Lauren Staru, a leadership student, said that she was excited about everything this year, “Everything, I really love leadership, and I love going to all activities.” Student leadership is always trying new things and doing what the school wants. This year their main goals are, “uniting students and to help grow school spirit,” said Staru. Additionally, Student Leadership strives, “to see greater participation, make sure we respond to students and to show that anyone can lead,” says Ruggero. Student leadership has always done a fantastic job and this year is just as promising.
