The West Bloomfield High School Robotics team is currently competing in The Oakland County Competitive Robotics Association (OCCRA). They have already competed in three out of five total events. This competition runs until December and immediately continues in January for the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST). Senior, Alexis Ball, the captain of the robotics team says “Our goal for the year is the same as always, we want to build the best possible robot we can to compete against other teams at the county level as well as nationwide.” Currently they have 20 members and the team is always looking for new and innovative people to join. Meetings are held everyday in room 478, ran by Mr. Muylaert, and all students are welcome to attend.
