Robotics Team: Competition Season Begins

The Robotics team has started their 2016 season in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) competition. This year, the theme/name of the game is called Stronghold. This game is a tower defense game and involves many obstacles and a huge demand strategy among the members of the team.

The first set of competitions will be held at Waterford Mott High school on March 3rd through March 5th. The second set will be held at Woodhaven High School on April 7th through April 9th. The team is looking for people to come to the competitions and show their support for the school. With a goal of building the best robot, the Robotics team hopes to achieve this goal at not only at the county level, but nationwide as well.

With the start of the competition season in full bloom, all students are encouraged and welcomed to join the Robotics team. Meetings are held after school from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Mondays and Fridays and 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Tuesdays through Thursdays.
