Serving Up Their Senior Year!
May 24, 2016
This year’s seniors on the WBHS Boy’s tennis team had a good season, closing out the year with three wins, four losses, and two ties. This team finished with one of the top records in their
league, and also the four doubles team was league champion. Boy’s tennis wrapped up with an above 0.500 score and played a challenging schedule. The seniors on the team this year include Alec Sandburg, Ronveer Sandhu, David Filanovsky, Arwod Haghi, Krunal Moradiya. These players have made memories, friendships, and learned the meaning of sportsmanship during their time playing for WBHS. According to Sandburg, “earning a spot in the singles lineup as a senior and being named team captain by my teammates and coaches,” was the ultimate highlight of his time on WBHS’ Varsity Boy’s Tennis team. He went on to say that he will miss the laid back environment and the positive attitudes of his teammates and coaches. It is certain that his teammates agree, as the senior members of the Boy’s Tennis team have worked hard to preserve a stunning Laker Legacy.
Congratulations to the Class of 2016, and we wish you the best of luck in the future!
