WBHS’S Marching Band and Color Guard Land 7th
MCBA State Finals
On Saturday November 3, WBHS’s Marching Band and Color Guard concluded their season by performing at the MCBA state finals, located at Ford Field. Their show, which was titled Technologic Takeover, received a score of 90.075, earning them 7th place.
Shruthi Ravindran, a junior and proud member of WBHS’s Color Guard said ” I loved performing at Ford Field! The stadium was so big, and there were many people in the crowd. When we finished performing, they all cheered as loud as they could. It was a bittersweet moment because I knew that the season was over, but I also knew I has such a fun time spinning (flags, rifles, and swords). I wouldn’t have wanted my season to end any other way”. Congratulations to our wonderful Marching Band and Color Guard on their fantastic season!
