Mission and Policies

The purpose of Spectrum is to inform the student body, as well as provide a medium of expression for students interested in writing and photography. 

News articles, editorials, and columns will be written responsibly and the views expressed in opinion pieces will be that of the individual author, not the staff, faculty, or administration of West Bloomfield High School.

Spectrum encourages all members of the school community to voice their opinions in the comments below every article. These should be respectfully written.

Spectrum staff reserves the right to make decisions regarding any material published on this website. Spectrum staff members vow to uphold the right to freedom of speech.

We are open to advertising:

Advertising with Spectrum allows local, private, and public institutions to reach a broader audience, specifically to our widely diverse group of students. We offer a variety of daily news articles pertaining to student life, sports, and local community news. Spectrum also features interactive games and contests (for extra credit, cash prizes, gift cards, etc.) to entice an increase in interaction.  We are confident that your advertisement will reach your intended audience.
