Spotlight: Jarobe Murph

Jarobe Murph, 2019 graduate of West Bloomfield High School, was an amazing, student, friend and athlete during his time at WBHS. He managed to keep up his academics while maintaining friendships and being an exceptional runner on the cross country team. His personal record is 17:58 for three miles. He also won most improved three years in a row.
“Cross country and my former teammates are what I miss most about high school,” Murph said.
Murph currently attends schoolcraft college. He hopes to become an entrepreneur, and he said he has multiple business ideas already.
“My dream is to live a long and peaceful life,” he said.
He spends his free time playing paintball, trail riding and, of course, running. Murph also has a love and talent for cooking. He said it’s something he loves to do. While in high school, he went to OSTC for cooking. Murph still cooks on a daily basis. Murph lives with his mom, dad and little sister in Pontiac, Michigan. His family said they are very proud of him and are very excited for his future.
