STEPS FOR VOTER REGIST-RATION

step one- you must meet all of these requirements

• A U.S Citizen
• A Michigan Citizen
• At least at 18

STEP TWO- Fill out an application at any one of these locations

• Your local Secretary of State branch office
• Your local county, city, or township clerk’s office
• Offices of several state agencies, like the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Community Health, and the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs
• Military recruitment centers
• Voter registration drives
• Download the Voter Application at www.Michigan.gov/sos
• Register online at Michigan Voter Information Center

STEP THREE- submit your application

Either hand-deliver or mail in your application.

STEP FOUR- voters card

You will receive a voter’s card that will indicate the location to cast your vote. 

STEP FIVE- Vote!
