How to vote

STEPS FOR VOTER REGIST-RATION
step one- you must meet all of these requirements
- A U.S Citizen
- A Michigan Citizen
- At least at 18
STEP TWO- Fill out an application at any one of these locations
- Your local Secretary of State branch office
- Your local county, city, or township clerk’s office
- Offices of several state agencies, like the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Community Health, and the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs
- Military recruitment centers
- Voter registration drives
- Download the Voter Application at www.Michigan.gov/sos
- Register online at Michigan Voter Information Center
STEP THREE- submit your application
Either hand-deliver or mail in your application.
STEP FOUR- voters card
You will receive a voter’s card that will indicate the location to cast your vote.
STEP FIVE- Vote!
