A: “Kendall Desnyder.”

Q: What grade are you in?

A: “10th grade.”

Q: Can you tell me about yourself?

A: “My name is Kendall and I was born in Virginia and I moved to Michigan when I was two months old. I lived in Romeo for most of my life and then moved to West Bloomfield in the third grade. I played multiple sports. Some also include soccer.”

Q: What’s your favorite activity?

A: “My favorite activity is softball because I’ve played most of my life and it’s a really fun sport.”

Q: How would you describe yourself?

A: “I like to describe myself as funny, intelligent, bright. And a lot of the time a good babysitter.”

Q: What accomplishment are you most proud of?

A: “I’m most proud of getting this far along. In general, For school, and for sports, like softball. I’ve gotten way better than I was before and at school. I’m doing better than I thought I would be at this point.”

Q: What are your motivations?

A: “I’m motivated by my family members, not my sister but my parents. Because actually my sister too, because she’s really good at school and she’s really smart. Both my parents are really smart as well. And they are triathletes. So they’re really athletic. And I’m very motivated like them.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: “I see myself in college probably because I like to learn about bone anatomy and that’s what I’m going into. So it’ll probably take more than four years or just college.”

Q: What does your typical day look like?

A: “My typical day is usually waking up at six because my alarm didn’t go off. So then I wake up late and then I get up and I have to rush everything that I do and get ready for school to feed my cat and everything. And then I go downstairs and don’t eat breakfast because we don’t have time for that. Then I get into the car. With my sister, my sister’s usually jamming music that no one even cares about. So you know, it’s not even that good music is really bad. Then, when I arrive at school, I go to the center and I hang out with my friends. Usually, we play heads up but sometimes we do homework. Sometimes I just don’t play homework because I like playing heads up. Then go to school. And I don’t really remember anything because I have a bad memory.”
