The Seniors take the field for the last time as Lakers, there is an air of excitement for the new season to begin. These seniors are, Avra DeYoung, Nyteia Tyler, Natalie Rosenau, Alexis Michaels, Rachel Jaffe, Mazey Kyriakoza, and Jenny Horgos. Avra DeYoung says that playing this is particularly special because it is her last; “It means a lot to me because this is the last season playing with the people I’ve been playing with for 4 years. I love this group of girls and I’m sad I’m going to have to leave them behind in June, but while I’m still here I’m going to make the most of it with and for my team.” These girls are extremely talented, and the students and teachers at West Bloomfield are sad to see them go. We wish them the best of luck, and hope they will represent the legacy of the Lakers wherever they go.
