The Jazz band at West Bloomfield High School spent the year banging the beat. So many great players like seniors Jared Johnson, Nick Carroll, Christian Kolo, Danny Korot, Anjana Rajagopal and Abhivan Reddy have come in and out of the hands of teacher Mr. Chad Mielens. He stated that the goal of the Jazz Band students “was to have fun and perform well, and I believe we did both of those things.” With a tremendous season at hand, senior Abhivan Reddy, says “The highlight of the season will be playing at the Hard Rock Café in May.” This hard working band met twice a week and each player put in time and effort to really become successful. Each instrument has been perfectly matched together to where they sound like a sweet serenity.  Great job to Jazz Band Seniors!
