Strong Team Play Foreshadowing Future Success

Lakers Lacrosse Making Improvements

Ryan Horwitz and Ari Felhandler

On Tuesday, April 25 the Lakers suffered a heartbreaking 11-10 loss in the final seconds of their best game yet against Motor City Club Lacrosse.

Yesterday’s game was the Lakers best so far this season, with goals coming in bunches. Nick Long (10) aided the Lakers’ effort by scoring 3 goals, along with the 4 goals scored by Josh Plyer (12). Singular goals were scored by Ari Felhandler (11), Tyler Dunbar (12), and Kyle Prewitt (12). Justin Weiss (12) had a great game minding the net and stopped multiple goals from being scored on the Lakers.

The Lakers performed very well against Motor City, demonstrating a large mount of camaraderie and communication on the field.  It is sad to say that the Lakers Lacrosse team members were all on the same page that game. If this game proved anything, it was that the Lakers are finally starting to come together and play as a well oiled machine. Tonight the Lakers will face the Royal Oak Ravens at West Bloomfield High School at 6 pm. Come out and show your support for the Lakers Lacrosse team!
