Dancing In Hollywood
Homecoming 2018
On October 6, 2018, WBHS hosted their annual Homecoming dance. This year the students voted for the theme “Hollywood”. The school was decorated to look like the students were invited to the Oscars. You were even able to make your own Hollywood Walk of Fame star with chalk on one of the walls. There were famous movie posters everywhere with a lot of spots where kids could take pictures on the “red carpet” with their friends. When you needed a break from dancing, you could head down to the gym to watch Black Panther- another student choice. If the students got thirsty, they were able to purchase a smoothie. There also was the choice of an ice cream sandwich from Cool Jacks.
The dance was a hit, seeing that many students enjoyed their time on Saturday night. Vidhi Pandya, a junior, said “It was a fun night that helped me clear my mind from school.” Karah Palmer, a sophomore, agreed by saying “I had so much fun at the dance. The decorations were cool and it was fun to hang out with my friends.” Will Newman, a freshman, said “I thought it was cool that you could do more things than just dance at Homecoming.”
Your donation will support the student journalists of West Bloomfield High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
